Who I am and what you’ll find here

I am a writer and photographer living in Sydney.

I enjoy travelling – generally on my own, often by bicycle. In 2015/16 I spent a midlife gap year primarily in Europe riding my bicycle and thinking about history.

When I’m at home, and the weather is fine, I’m slowly working my way through all of Sydney’s 82 (or so) beaches.

I also love baseball, specifically the Washington Nationals, and dabble in a bit of politics.
